Hello, Thanks. I have been going to stuttgart since the 80's. jack is the best. sometimes he is so busy though and he can't get me in but if it's something that must be done or the car will be damaged by running it, he gets it in. Never met anyone like jack can't say enough good things about him. this is my first boxster but i have had numerous 911's serviced there. Great lead on the parts , I will check out chandler if needed. I just went to scottsdale north and they gave me a great deal on a brake light board. Pretty weird how every light goes into that circuit board plus he did me a huge favor and installed it for free. So, I like them too. I will take a peek at Mcilvain, it is always good to have places to go in the valley because there are so many porsches here. All the best to you.

Hi there. I do some of the work on my 986/996 but for the things I don't have the tools for or need a lift I take to a independent. The are a good number of shops in town that are good. Stuttgart Southwest and McIlvain Motors. Stutgart Southwest is a pretty big shop that can handle ANYTHING Porsche. McIlvain Motors is a small shop that focuses on watercooled cars and really know 986/987/996/997 cars. They hourly rate is the most responsible in the whole Valley.
BTW if you needs parts check out Chandler Porsche. I'm getting most of my parts from them as they are very competitive and I avoid shipping charges which on larger items can be pricey. Let them know what you can get a part for elsewhere and they will match or beat the price I just picked up the GT3 console delete kit in grey, which is a little harder to find, for $185. There wasn't one in the US so they got it directly from Germany and I did not have to pay for shipping on it.
