Nice! I like the contrast between black and white throughout your car. Seems like you have LED DRL installed?

Mirrors.... that do sounds like a great idea. Where?

eBay (search "996 carbon mirror") or you can buy JAAY's set.

I'm a little torn on carbon fiber these days. I've been a fan of CF for a long time. I bought my first carbon fiber bike in 1991 (Giant Cadex). The thing is that a part is either carbon fiber or its a wrap. I kind of prefer the real deal but understandably its cost-prohibitive. That's why I would rather see a matte black wrap or the plasti dip now that they come in these anthracite mettalics like gun metal and silver as well as the high gloss.

I'm still a carbon fiber (look) junkie but as you've mentioned, cost is an issue. However, since the weight savings of those little parts if they were made in real CF is very limited therefore I actually prefer those 3M Di-Noc or 1080 as an more cost effective alternative. I've wrapped my MDX bumpers/door handles in 3M Di-Noc and loved it. I'll try to wrap some parts of the 986 to see how they come out.

Yeah I plan to use Di-Noc as well, for sure the back and sides of my GT3 seats. I also plan to remove all the carpeting from the doors and footwells and replace them with dark grey alcantara.
carpeting on the door a sports car is ridiculous and makes the interior look dated where the rest of the interior with the right coverings (leather or alcantara) can still look minimal and racy.
