Car Wizard from Hoovies Garage replaces rear trunk release cable on a 986

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dun9OLOO1Qo&t=2s

The start of the video is not great, its a goofy skit gag.

He discusses some common problems in boxsters and then goes into the repair.

I need to do this repair and had not seen any suggestions on how to perform this anywhere.

Enjoy if you want or if you need to make this repair.

Mine too, a few years ago. I bought a swage tool, some braided wire, and the bits to do the seating and got it working again, it was a hassle...

I can try and look them up Monday and provide more details.

Sure, thanks. I bought new original cable. I have many tools, but not sure if I have everything that is needed for the job.
