I applaud your efforts, Ben.
However, running a round aluminum ball against a flat plastic surface is going to leave you with the same issue: play will develop quickly as the ball wears a groove into the plastic sleeve.
You need something more like the stock insert for the ball joint in order to distribute the load.

I chose the delrin insert, it's easier to make !
Since the ball rides on only a small part, each insert can be used twice, and you'll get two with each kits.
That should be enough to last a few years
And even after that, I won't sell the inserts for a crazy price, I want my parts to continue working for a looong time

I made a small modification, and the production will start soon
