I'll jump on the bandwagon - got mine yesterday!
Any tips or links to threads on installation would be appreciated.
Thanks Ben!

Here is what you should get in the box:
The center section might have the bearing already fitted to it
Or in the cups:
It doesn't really matter, it all comes together the same!
Always leave the "one cent washer" in there (cheapest soft metal washer that fit!).
If one bearing get stuck in the cup, if you've follow the previous rule, you will have no trouble getting it out using the big set screw.
I recommend you to do the job outside the car, it takes only 4 more screws to undo, but makes it really easy.
If during installation the first bearing keeps on falling, a drop of super glue will secure it. JUST A SMALL DROP
The pelicanpart article about the short shifter installation is very good, that's what I've used the first time I did it.
The hardest parts are getting the center console out, and breaking the old plastic cups (small chisel will do the job, the white plastic is brittle and will easily break if you hit the right spot without damaging the soft black plastic.)
Good luck with your install guys! I hope you will enjoy it as much as I, and the other do
Also, there is one left to grab
Ben.

cool
It can feel weird the first days for some...
You might also want to check and adjust it if needed in a few weeks.
Ben.

Just the set screw:
no need to take everything apart, you should be able to adjust it by hand (Undo the nut, tighten the screw by hand).

That was fast!
It took me around 15min and three re-reading of the tutorial to finally do it, but you'll see, it's worth it
Ben.

So I just installed my new shifter and matches my marking on the cables when I reattached them and it seems like it's tight and it takes slightly more force to get into each gear. I just want to verify it should feel like this. It feels solid just different.

Yes, the throw being 30% shorter, you need 30% more force to shift.
You'll get use to it don't worry, mine felt weird for a week
Ben.

Ball bearing short shifter !
Thanks for confirming. I'm excited to get out and drive it tomorrow to test it out.
Thanks again for putting together this high quality shifter!
