Hi Bruce. I use these: uxcell 5pcs Blue PCB Mount DC 12V SPDT 5 Pin Mini Power Relay JQC-3F(T73) | eBay
Unfortunately, I didn't start adding these until after I did yours (it's standard practice now). I'll see if I can dig up wiring instructions, too.

I have no idea how mouch exstra it wold be to make it work. I just expected the projector led's to work allitlebit longer than 6 weeks. For me it was more about design than having better light. Mine was quite bright and good with no burnt lenses.
