Although I may seem to be giving those away, I still make a good $55 profit on each and every kits that I've sold. Something like that. Not hiding... I've sold little under 500 kits TRK... do the maths mate. Do we really have to sell them $800?! Me don't think so mate... that'd be so bloody unfair to other fellas if you ask me.

I am actually preparing a writeout for you guys, as-in reporting back to 986forum about what I've done with "your" money (and plan on doing for the future). Mate Andy here recommended me to spend it on prostitutes and cocaine but there, that's what distiguish me from Andy - I've always had better taste than him lollll I've found a much better idea that I think, not only will benefit myself, but you guys also.

Me think I owe the 986forum community big time (Rennlist, JP and CN pcar boards also).

You'll be surprised - promise to find time before the coming weekend!

I think you sold these things way too cheap. And I think your buddy was on track with the prostitutes and cocaine!

I just purchased a set of Luminoso projectors this afternoon. The Vivos were on the webpage as well for $30 less. But I like the aggressive look of the Luminoso's a bit, and after taking a brief office poll, those seemed to be the most popular for my car.

Headlight shells have already been shipped to Particlewave for the conversion.

Litronic Options

Can I just buy your projectors and replace the projectors inside my litronic headlights as they are already Xenon?

Charles does that (again, I think loll). Requires a great deal of patience, if I understood what Charles meant last time he did that Meaning; difficult without additional fabrication but not impossible.

A proper answer to your question would be NO, as in not designed to accommodate the Litronics (yet). But post like yours only fuel up the need to get a mounting plate engineered and I think I'll need to get that done soon. You are the fifth or sixth to ask this question in fact. Not many but some wants it.

Anybody who has a used litronic unit (or set), get in touch with me and I'll paypal what's needed to get it over Shanghai. I only need the parts for prototyping onto really... they don't need to be polished no worries!

I actually had a good functioning set here but got it nicked by a friend here who've crashed his 996 and needed them badly :/

Thanks for the response. Id definitely be a buyer and I'm sure there are plenty of others who have the litronic lights that would like an update. Please keep us posted.

This was a one-off that I did for my own headlights. I might do another...

Please PM me and let me know what it would take for you to do another set for me if that's a possibility.

Charles, you were correct. The problem was the headlight switch! So happy to have this done finally. I swear, I'm never working on this car again. From now on it goes to the dealer if it needs the rear view mirror adjusted! Well, starting after the short shifter, but that's it! Anyhow, here she is...

Can someone confirm that the Turismo Series GT kits will fit a 2002 Boxster S?

I show that Pelican Parts says that they can't confirm these will fit:

TURISMO Series GT Projector Headlight Retrofit Kit, Gunmetal [More Info] Brand: X
Note: We can't confirm this part will fit your 2002 Porsche Boxster S Convertible.

They fit. Of course you have to modify your headlight housings. It's not a drop-in replacement, is what I think they're getting at.

Are the other GT kits like the VIVO and the Luminoso drop in replacements? Or do those require modifying the headlight housing as well?

All require some work on the reflector and electrical work, the same as any retrofit. All 3 models are designed for your headlights (1997-2004 986 and 1999-2001 996).

Read the installation instructions for details.
