Mine are in this final batch, black Turismo, red angel eyes.
Certainly could be done in a day, if you don't have to paint the interior of the headlight. Add one~two day if you do paint.

In a real world (where I live occasionally) I'd say plan a good weekend mate, that is without rushing anything (incl painting the interior, and loving/polishing the lenses when completed).

MAX:
1) 2 hrs to remove the lenses + carefully clean the edge
2) 1-2 hrs to dremel the socket hole and fitting new projectors in
3) 2 hrs for the wiring
4) 1 hrs for dialing-in the orientation, pre-adjustments
5) 1 hrs testing on the bench & car, making sure all works
6) 1 hrs cleaning, removing any dust left by the above work
7) 2 hrs for re-sealing the lenses onto the headlights
(8) 12,765 hrs looking/staring at your car 'new' front-end style

Something like that. Not incredibly time consuming but it does takes a little longer than doing an oil change for sure.

The difference it makes to the car will make you forget all about wasting your precious weekend time I promise loll - keep for when it rains!

RE ^

Here are some of the latest (spy)pics I recently found on the internet with those projectors installed. Stealing other members' pics lollll criminal I know. It would be even more of a crime not to share them up I think

I know those cars recently got sold. Note to new owners; let me know if you need me to remove those from this thread and I will in a flash

Chris, they are all long gone! I've passed those to my little post-lady here last Monday afternoon. The post office can process-out 5 kits per day under my (personal) ID therefore by latest Friday afternoon, all should have left the country. It's prepaid! Would go faster if I could use a friend's Co ID (e.g. no daily quota) but given the nature of the shipment I think we'll leave it that way for this last batch

I already have everyone's tracking numbers in hand. I'll update the GTP site with those # as soon as this smooth out. You'll get an automated email from the system when I punch those in!

On holiday now.... for the next 2 days lolll (back to work this Friday eve!)

Excellent! I think I'll go home and pull my headlights out tonight. Many thanks, now go enjoy your break. How are you coming on the kit to route the exhaust through the top and shoot flames, like the 918? I guess I would settle for just flames out the back though...

Hey Fred (off topic)

I attended Uber Fest this past Saturday here in North West Alabama, awesome event BTW.

We watched the cars run the track and there was an older 911 in Red with a Carbon Fibre hood that looked great and low and behold there was a set of your projectors installed. I talked with the guy a bit, he was eager to get back on the track though.

Just thought you might want to know.

I'm always bored, Bruce! Even when I'm working on something, I have 4 or 5 projects running in my head.

See, I'm never bored because I always have 4 or 5 projects going at once!

Center Lock 'style' is the best. Nice wheel dress-up kit is all they do really

The engineered CLs aren't all that easy to use and maintain I've read many times. Besides, you'd need to re-invent the hub and braking/disc system. Cool = yes..... safe = nope!

Great pic of your 986 right there btw! Our cars somehow never age lolll
