I see...yeah, I haven't looked into the FM modulators since the "cd revolution" of the '90's.

Same. If the cdr210 would play burnt CDs I'd be fine, but every brand ive tried it struggles to read, even when burnt at 1x

Did you finalize & close the disk? Older players have problems with CDs if you haven't properly closed the session.

Yes

I've been burning CDs for a very long time. My first was a 2x8x I bought for $220 in 1997

I am very familiar with how to burn CDs
