The link you guys provided for the LEDs died. I'm finally to the point where I'm just going to order them and do it. I'm looking at them on eBay. What voltage do I need? I don't want to order the wrong ones.

Hi guys this is my first post on this forum. I want to change the bulbs for blue leds. Is there a place where i can buy the whole lot for all the interior ? speedo, climate control and switches?

Particlewave,

What would have to be done to make the linked kit work for 2001 with the supposed smd leds? Could the leds in the kit be soldered onto the later clusters?

I think you'd need some of the "bulbs" in the link for the cluster, but the LCDs use SMDs. The same SMDs as in the link for the climate control and switches. I don't know how many because I've never worked on the later clusters and lost my pictures.
A cheaper alternative would be to buy the LEDs I've linked below for all SMDs.

PLCC2 SMDs:
