Removing pins from the amplifier connector?

I got a 6-channel amp and I'd like to do two things:

1. Swap the connectors on the harness that's currently in the car

2. Remove some of the pins in the harness to use in the door harness for a factory-looking solution to wiring new speakers without damaging the existing speaker wiring/harness in my girlfriends Boxster.

I haven't removed pins successfully from a harness before and I'd like some guidance. How do I remove these? Here's a shot of each side of the connector:
