I tried this hack today but came across a problem. Everything works correctly except the shield solenoid is activated (or not activated, not sure what the normal position is) so my projectors (thanks Fred!) are fully on when I turn the headlights on. Activating the brights doesn't change anything. Flashing the brights turns off the fogs when the headlights are off, so that works as expected. Has anyone with Fred's projectors had a similar experience or otherwise have an idea of what may be causing my problem? I'm assuming this has something to do with how the projectors are wired, but that's a guess.
