So I put a new used motor in at the end 0f 2021. Had issues to sort out which meant it didn't get the install finished and motor started until April of last year. I sat on it for a couple months and got it running again to take out for a track day in January of this year. However. I had some smoking issues and decided not to run it. It had old gas in it so I drained flushed and filled it up and the smoking was much better but it's still there. Replaced plugs and 02's and it hasn't gone away. Compression tested motor and all good 230+ in all cylinders. When compression testing it - I noticed one plug seemed gas soaked or wet or both. Replaced the injector but no luck.
So at this point - I'm simply have no desire to keep the car and throw more money into it. As you can see by the ad below - I put a ton of new stuff on it expecting the motor to be good - over $17k invested last year. Also prior to it originally dying at the end of 2019 I had redone a bunch of stuff which maybe has a dozen track days on the stuff done in 2018 including the suspension rebuild.
I also have a 20 ft. Featherlite trailer which I've extensively modified to include storage, a monitor, tools, wheel rack, and a solar charging and battery system. I'd sell that along with car for an additional $30k OBO.
This is a great opportunity for someone to build an almost new car for under $35k. The Motec System and Motons alone are worth over $15k.
