2001 Boxster for Sale - Utah

Finally selling my baby. I've owned this car since 2016.

Happy to answer any questions.

https://cars.ksl.com/listing/8174368

I am selling my pride and joy for the last 6 years,
my 2001 Porsche Boxster. This car has been extremely special to me over the years. I bought it in 2016 from a family member. The car has been in my family since around 2015 and around 70k miles.

I live in Orem but I can meet anywhere from South Salt Lake
to Payson. Willing to go further on arrangement. I listed the
address as the Orem Walmart.

I could talk for hours about this car, so please reach out
if you have any questions at all. Text preferred and we can set up a time to call and talk about the car.

Overall, she is an absolute blast to drive and has treated
me right since I first bought her.

I am only selling her because I have other vehicles now and
just don't have time to enjoy driving her. I've put very few miles (less than 5k) in the last year.

Here is what has been replaced since I've owned the vehicle.
I used OEM or german brand name parts wherever possible. I have a stack of receipts from PelicanParts from over the years.

I also have a big ole stack of parts that I will throw in. Listed at the bottom.
This is my personal photography portfolio with more high
quality pictures of the car.

I am asking $9700 cash.

Reach out via KSL messages or text via my phone number.

Known problems

Turn signal issue

I recently replaced the headlights with well-reviewed LED
headlights. Immediately after I had the following issue.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21uzmrdZk-k
I believe the issue is either in the turn signal stalk or
the headlight wiring. I'll be investigating the issue further but the issue
persisted with the original headlights back in.

Noisy passenger window (still works)

The passenger window creaks when coming up/down but still
works just fine. I believe the window regulator is stretched/needs adjustment.
There are threads on 986forum about this issue and I can elaborate further if
needed.

Washer spray bottle leak

This is a minor issue and I plan on finding the time to fix
this. Basically the lower hose on the washer spray bottle slips off, and I just
need to jack up the car, remove the driver side wheel well and throw a hose
clamp on it. Common issue on these Boxsters.

CEL P0139 and P0159 (post cat O2 sensors)

The car has no cats. I lived in a
county without emissions originally and did not have to pass. Currently the car
is registered registered in Washington State through March 2023. I can
get the car to the emissions "ready" state but I have
not tried passing emissions here in Utah. Willing to talk about this further.

Spare expansion tank (OEM off a parts car)

Spare Function Form extended shift arm

Extra engine and cabin air filters

Master cylinder, pilot bearing

-will update with additional parts, just need to go
through my shop and check again-
