Most likely a blown engine, metal fragments in oil, IMS failure most likely.

Just some advice... I'd hate to see it get parted, but if you can line up the sale of a few big parts like front bumper and top with local pick-up, you could probably make better money over time parting the whole thing. Still, I see the value of having it done and gone.

2002 engine available

If you were closer I'd try to work a deal with you as I have a used 2002 2.7L engine that was pulled from a running wreck. I mention this on your post in the event there is a mechanically minded buyer who would want to put your car back on the road with my engine. I'd let it go for similar money, which would put a buyer into a Porsche for less than $4K if they did their own labor.
