2009 Boxster
Beautiful 2009 Porsche Boxster with a 6spd manual trans and only 28K mi. Colors are Ruby Red Metallic exterior, black top, and black interior. Car is in excellent condition, has a clean Carfax, but has had the rear bumper repainted. It has spent its life in FL and AZ, so no fear of rust. 2009 was the first yr of the new 9A1 engine, which eliminated the IMS and all its problems. Base Boxsters have 255 HP and it’s plenty powerful. Porsche sales slumped in the 2009 model yr due to the stock mkt crash. Only 1900 Boxsters (base & S) were sold in the US, the 2nd lowest production yr ever. Not many of those 1900 were Ruby Red, so this is a rare color for 2009.
Options include:
Sport Chrono
Automatic climate control
18” Boxster S II wheels
Windstop wind deflector
AM/FM/CD radio with Bluetooth & Universal Audio Interface
Hill stop brake holder (stops car from rolling back on a hill when releasing the clutch)
2 keys & owner’s manuals
Michelin PS2s with lots of tread left on them
Recent maintenance includes:
Brake fluid flush
New Mobil 1 oil & filter
New engine air filter
1 yr old battery
Ignition coils changed at 24K mi
This Boxster looks and runs like new. The color is stunning.
$24,850

I’m really surprised this is still available. Beautiful condition, low miles, no IMS worries. Unfortunately for me, this is available about a year too early. GLWS - it’s a beauty.

This is a great looking car but I’m not completely surprised that it’s still available.
Please consider my opinion as having very little to do with this specific car.
Boxster shave been available since 1997 so any perceived exclusivity is long gone. At $25k or
thereabouts, the buyers market is going to be somewhat limited to cash buyers as this is now a nine year old car, Long out of warranty.
Did I mention how cold this spring has been?
This is a great car and will definitely sell and make the new owner very proud. The sale may just have to delayed a bit for the temps to catch up to the calendar. This is the best time to be a seller, with lots of tax refund checks to trickle in to potential buyers.
Best of luck!

A really nice Porsche roadster for the price of a Toyota Camry.

Thanks everyone. dghii's analysis is on point, esp the part about spring. It's been crappy everywhere. Hard to get spring fever when it's 20-40 deg outside and snowing once a week. That pretty much covers the weather in 2/3 of the country.
I have had more national interest on this one than other Wheeler Dealer cars I've had for sale. However, 2 wives ended up not liking the color, 1 wife insists on a PDK, and one couple needed to see Ruby Red in person and they were on the east coast. I've had offers to trade for a Mustang GT, a Maserati, and a Model A hot rod. No offers of land or motorcycles yet, but I always get one of these thrown my way. The closest I've come to trading was por356c's 02 Boxster. It looked very nice, too nice actually, where it doesn't fit my WD model of adding value to make money. And there's always the low ballers who ask if I'll take $18K because that's all they have (then don't look at $24K cars) and the scammers. Love all the angles the scammers take.
But it's all part of the joy of selling a car privately. Someone will suddenly swoop out of the corner of the Internet and snatch it up. Just need some better weather to inspire them.

2009 Boxster for sale
Thanks for the compliment on my 02! There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about this lovely 09. Love the color and love the manual trans. And Husker's reputation speaks for itself. We have a glimmer of hope here in Michigan with our weather - its finally turned for the better. We have sun and 50F today! Can you imagine! I took it out of winter storage today. Like Husker, I've had a lot of inquires, (some pretty weird too) but no takers. Time for me to seriously try to sell my 02 so I can buy this beautiful 09 which is priced very fairly!!

Sold!
por356c found a friend who was looking for a Boxster. We had a 3-way going for a couple of weeks, but his friend purchased it yesterday. It will be on a truck to Detroit in short order.
