Thanks. I'm honestly very reluctant to sell it. But, it's just unfortunately the best thing for me to do at the moment =/

Btw, I should clarify, I did the trans. and rear diff. fluid change (back at 100k) myself, not by Porsche.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the kind words. I did do the wax job myself. I did the whole Zaino process, all just by hand. Dish soap wash first, then z7 wash, then clay bar, then three coats of z5 polish, folllowed by three coats of z6. It took me two days. Fist time is a lot of work. Then follow-up maintenance is a breeze. If you end up using it, a word of advice: at first I was having some issues with it looking cloudy. Turns out I was using too much z5. You literally only need to use about a 1/2 an ounce to 3/4 at most of polish for a boxster. This includes all three coats. The stuff goes so far. It's not at all like conventional wax. It's really easy to put on too much. Anyhow, I think it did come out looking really amazing. I've been super happy with zaino's stuff. So much so, I did my wife's car with it as well.

Next, the top was about $1000. The link where I purchased it is right at the top of this forum page. I went with the best one Gahh offers. The quality is top-notch. I highly recommend it. I installed it myself with my brother's help. I googled the project and found really good step by step instructions with pictures. It took two days. It came out awesome but my fingers were sore for days from pulling canvas, haha. I wouldn't recommend it for the faint of heart. It's a pretty involved project. I did get a quote beforehand for installation at a local shop. I want to say it was about $600 for labor...

Lastly, it sold for $10k. Man, I was so sad to see it go. But, I pulled the trigger on a Mini hardtop S yesterday and I'm loving it! Pretty good economical vs. sporty ratio for me at the moment. Gotta love German engineering!

Wow! This is the best color combination i've seen on a boxster! The new owner should be very happy!

I agree, that is definitely a sexy Boxster.
Kind of annoying though, since now that I've started looking around with an idea of purchasing one soon-ish, knowing that this car was for sale in my projected price range and I can't have it just makes me cry
