I have a 3.8L X-51 2005 Boxster for sale

See:

http://www.planet-9.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=6253&title=2005-boxster-conversion-3-8s-x-51-pss9&cat=23

Previously had a 3.4L 1999 Boxster conversion.
Will probably do another in the future.

Boxster S X51

Not sold. I must have accidentally toggled something when I was copying the details from planet-9 to this forum, rennlist and pelican.
The car has been for sale for about 1.5 weeks on planet-9 only.

I toggled it back to unsold. Weird that it happened since I needed to click and select a few things to mark it sold. Not sure how it happened.

Not necessarily. I know that one guy that put a 3.8 x51 into his cayman last winter paid $11.6k (no core charge) for a factory crate motor from the dealership. If you keep in touch with your local porsche parts department, you'll find that porsche does run some really good specials on engines from time to time.

Longhood, did you ever find a car?

Not sure you will find ANYONE willing to part with their 3.8 conversion...it's just way too much fun! Would be happy to let you take it for a spin though - if you are near the Bay Area.
