Most definitely. Great to see you and I owe you dinner.

I might have to drag my SPB to the west coast someday!
That’ll never have to wait until I hang up my shingle tho :-(

Enjoy. Just remember, you can't win the race in T1 of the first lap!
Wish I could make it, maybe next year. I'll be at the PCA race in NOLA later in the month.

I made a promise to the family that I would not jump into the deep end of racing until my daughter heads off to college -- which is this fall.

CoTA is in my backyard -- so I get a hall pass.

NOLA is out this year -- but the plan is to do Hallet & MSR-C in the fall.

In fact I'm considering a road trip to Road America for Labor Day weekend and
the reason for my visit with Tom Stone was I was picking up my new tow vehicle.

So true, esp at COTA! They go 8 wide into T1. Been to the last 3 Club Race / Advanced DEs and make it a point to watch the start of the Club Races.

I'm signed up for the DE but Wheeler Dealer funds have been short lately, so I'm going to cancel. Really love that track but they won't let me drive on my good looks. Have to choose between COTA and Indy, so Indy it is. Plus COTA raised their entry fee by $200.
Good luck on your maiden voyage.

Holy Schnikes, I was looking at the DE roster and someone has signed up to run a 935!!! COTA is always a hp orgy, but wow. Not sure my GoPro would be able to catch it as it flies by.

Keep your nose clean and have fun! Always intimidating when you are the new kid in class, I remind myself I'll never get paid to do this so the goal is to come home with all the paint where it belongs and only the color I rolled out with. Nice thing about spec classes is there always seems to be some one to play with, similar skills and speed.
