Buying used reservoir tank
Hey guys is it safe to buy a used reservoir coolant tank? Someone parts out a Boxster 99 and he said the coolant is looking great and no crack no leak and its the genium one, he wants 150$ for it. Give an idea guys, thanks

This job is such a PITA there is no way I would use a used part for it.
Same goes for the window regulators.

Don't do it. Old plastic doesn't get better as it gets older.

I have a newer used one I pull from my 2002 just last December
It looks great as well, just a bit yellowed
Really, used parts from a 17 year old car
We shouldn't be filling out landfills needlessly - Recycle. Used condoms make great kids party ballons
