I'm sorry but idiots infuriate me. That marshal was an idiot. That the hell was he waiting for? Is there something about that track that allows moron marshals to work the track?

Oh I don't know. Rule #2 is for drivers to cooperate with track officials at all times. It keeps drivers safe. When she pointed at him to go he needed to move it out right away with no questions or position change at that point. He hesitated, let the next guy go so she handed him the DFL penalty for failing to comply. Most competent grid marshals would do exactly that.

After his black flag DSQ debrief session the driver probably learned something.
