It's here - the 3.6 Boxster
Arrived today after a lengthy delay in getting it shipped from the east to west coast.
As many of you noted in the original for sale post - this is a quality build and the previous owner took great care of the car. I can't wait to get this baby out on track. I need to address a few things - getting the seat moved and figuring out what I need to do ramp wise to get it on my trailer - my race ramps are too tall. Other than that it's raring to go.

I think you may soon feel sellers remorse for letting such a carefully prepared track car get away. C'est la vie!

Not may feel but am feeling. The day I loaded it on the hauler I was happy. After watching the 12 hours of Sebring I have been sad...
I hope it all goes well for the new owner and he enjoys learning about the MoTeC data to learn how to go fast faster. I loved going over data, but with no kids it made studying and dissecting the numbers a fun hobby to learn.

Niceee. I logged on only to congratulate you on your new toy acquisition. Beautiful and plenty of fun and learning coming your way this summer.
I've seen vids of that car. Be extra careful.... from what it look and sound, it seems you bought a very light and brutal-fast car :/ Baby steps mate!
Enjoy!

Eek is right you maniac. No more crankshaft roasting though. This game might start to get kinda expensive.
You haven't truly experienced racing until you have turned a few finely prepped and tuned motors into boat anchors.

If it's any consolation - you sold it to someone who will take as good care of it as you did and treat it with respect.
I'm totally excited about this car and it's capabilities. I've been an instructor here with the Audi Club and Hooked on Driving. My daily driver is a Cayman S and I simply can't wait to get behind the wheel of this car on track at Sears Point, Thunderhill and Laguna Seca - although no way it passes sound at Laguna right now.
