anyone has the mount for the panel behind the roof?
Hi guys,
im currently building a 2004 boxster s race car.
my question is regarding the panel behind the roof that opens/closes with the roof.
im looking for the part that precision was making back in the days,
anyone sells them other than them? or has a schema?
thanks for the help

I just sent him an email and in a week or so they showed up. They fit great.

Blake got the last set that I had pre-cut material for. I don't have any plans to have any more cut out. Too much hassle for not enough money considering how busy we are right now with in-house race car builds and engine conversions.

hey - there's a zeintop for sale in Ontario - buy it, gut it and use it instead of a hardtop, tonneau and rear trunk lid.

yeah, they were nice mounts! bummer, but I'd have to agree that for the price they seemed like a lot of work.

I've often thought about taking the tonneau cover and the rear trunk to a fibreglass guy and having him make a lightweight one-piece unit that could then be pinned down.

Why?
The factory pieces weigh close to nothing (they are magnesium) leave them in place and set the top down on the rear cover?
OR OR the *right* way to do it? Buy the fiberglass version that weighs HALF of the original cover and attach it to the top. If the top comes off.. the cover goes with it.
