hahaaaa, who needs TV for entertainment!! This is the best specialty channel going!
My 2 cents .... sports car is manual its part of the whole experience, it helps to keep us close to the interface of man-machine and asphalt, you have the control - BUT as a daily driver, commuting in a city that is hilly with traffic lights and cross walks, someday I can see where a PDK would be useful (I'm not there yet)!

the older school view of sports car is a 2 door, 2 seater, 4 banger (old school definition says 4, most people don't care how many cylinders it has) with no assists (ABS/TC/ESC, et al.), has a manual box, and in the old school terms, topless.

a sports car does one thing and does it well: makes you pucker your seat into a condensed foam ball while it making the road it's beesh. if your "sports" car doesn't do that, it's not a sports car.
