Blue, can you manipulate what's logged to set an alarm of some sort at a predetermined level?

Next year, I'm going to try one of the ELM 327 OBDll bluetooth readers and hook it up wireless to my MOT Q9c. On a 987, I can get coolant temp, speed and throttle position but that's it.
It will work in concert with my Qstarz 818XT GPS receiver which will plot my speed and position on a track using GPS and Race Chrono software (free).

Which ELM 327 device did you choose? I ask since there are a lot of them out there and the quality seems to be all over the place from great to junk.
thanks.
