I agree with Porsche98Spyder, looks like plastic. Nice white car, though.

Love it! I am a big fan of the monochrome "look"

Saw a white monochrome R107 Merc recently, it was as the designer's intended with the small bumpers and original square headlights. Also had the AMG body kit.

If someone had suggested that "look" for my 107 I would think they were nuts!

It actually looked really good, very different to be sure. But I liked it.

I had a 93 Taurus SHO, it was white with white wheels. The look was just OK, actually too monochrome. I put a black bra on it which was a big improvement IMHO.

The white wheels were actually easy to keep clean. No more difficult than any other wheels I have owned. Powder coat is great, sure beats plain alloy.

i have a white 986 and have these rims:
http://www.rh-wheels.com/index.cfm?P=wheels_detail&PID=84680

i'm gonna powdercoat them black with polished lip... will post pics when i get it done, hopefully within the week.

white on white rims.. ehhhh nah. i saw a z4 like that the other day and it just felt the car was downgraded. as for black rims with polished lip, i think it looks good on exotics and tires that aren't too thick. and hell, if versace and lamborghini (http://www.hypebeast.com/2006/11/lamborghini-x-versace-murcielago/) say its a good combo, i believe them
