As my signature states, I have driven my car to the last 6 Parades. I was on the wait list for Hershey, but we did finally get in. The key is to register as early as possible on the first day of registration. This year we are car 58 last year IIRC we were 82. The club tries to make room for everyone who registers on the first day.
