Unhappy Events

Hey Bavarian Motor guy, when I saw your post it reminded me that I will not be going to the PCA Zone 1 Tech. Tactics this Sat. at Farnbacher-Loles in Danbury CT this weekend. I did not register ahead of time thinking it would be ok to reg. at the door but they are all sold out as I suspect the F/L facility has limited space. Oh well, I really wanted to attend and see what this facility was all about. Maybe I can organize a tech. trip for my region sometime this summer. 986geezer kicking myself for not being on the stick about this event.

Chesapeake Region is having a New Members/DE on March 10th at the Maryland State Police Driving Track. I hope they let the Troopers chase us.

That was all right.

I felt very out of place. I was by far the youngest person there. The guys next to me were cool at least.

No one brought their cars, though

Glad to hear you went. Yeah, not everyone drives their porsches in the winter. Then again, some have "winter" ones, "summer" ones, "track" ones, "concours" ones, etc etc.

Its just one meeting. I am not a social butterfly myself... unless I am at the track or DE. Hanging out in a hotel/inn isn't where I enjoy Porsche ownership
