We separate the ball joint where you have the red line because it is easier. We do not separate the ball joint where you have the yellow line.

The bottom one is easier, and it will be one less thing to get in your way as it swings up with the top.

I have been running a K&N without any issues, I also have de-snorkled without issues.

K&N first then, sometime later De-snorked...

Just be careful with the amount of oil, be reasonable, I believe this is the culprit behind the K&N not working for people.

I did not really notice anything from my pants of the seat dyno from the K&N but I did notice some improvement from the De-snork...

The MAS is so close to the air filter, and it gets bombarded with oil when applied in excess.

If you are leery about the K&N and want the deeper sound, remove the foam from the stock filter.

I run K&N on everything, without any problems.

YES!!!! this past weekend i had change my air filter (i´m going to do a picture album to share the change filter how to do..).

Thanks to all!!! friends!!!

And know....i´m going to find information to "how to change the spark plugs"

Boxster Air Filter Change Help

Thank you to all of you who posted remarks on how to change the air filter on a boxster. YOu all came in very handy and it helped me out a lot. Best of luck to you all and thankyou again!
