1997 that just hit 94,000.. i only owned it for 8 mths bought it with 89,899 put roughly 5k miles on it in 8 mths. Keep in my mind though i live in nj and own 4 cars so hard to pick what to drive.. I own a 2007 mercedes rl, 2003 vw jetta, 1997 boxster,2006 h2 hummer.. The porsche is more babied in the winter expect for the last 2 days it has been 50 good enough for the top down. I am the third owner of the boxster and orginal owner on the other 3.

At what point should an owner start thinking they have more miles than they need?

I don’t mean to hijack the thread here, but when is it a good time to unload this car? I am happy to go on putting 15k+ miles per year on this thing until the end of time, but at some point, I imagine it would be more cost effective/ reliable to just dump it and pick up a new one. Any thoughts?
