Randall, I have the Bose and I can hear it on the highway with the top down. I'm not a fan of Bose in general and people are complaining about its quality in the boxster, but I find it quite adequate for a roadster. I only listen to it about 20% of the time anyway.

Yen, while it is sitting in storage take the time to get some new sidemarkers (de-amber). Improves the look alot for very cheap. I think i paid $19.

I'd have to agree that the Bose is adequate with top down city driving, but I find at highway speeds you lose most of the lower frequencies (at least that's how I perceive it).

The dealer was nice enough to through in the clear sidemarkers for free at delivery. I've had nothing but positive experiences with them.
