I like where your head is at. If you had a FASTER car you could have avoided the accident altogether. Good decision. I think you ought to have sprung for the turbo though.

Not to victim blame, but if no other traffic I'd prefer to check and swing into middle lane rather than brake hard. Tough to make that decision in the moment, and of course if there were a car and you hit them you'd be at fault. You can't win sometimes, though looks like the 996 is doing alright.


Surely with failed brakes on the tahoe they were able to reproduce, see no fluid in the master cylinder, etc... No way the driver would lie.
