any long term fix for tiptronic cooler control valve?

So this part failed for me last april, and dumped all my coolant all over the road.
i got the upgraded porsche part 92857457304 ( which replaced 92857457303) and paid $900 to have it replaced and the coolant system vacuum filled.

this lasted 14 months and split in the same exact spot, where the 2 plastic sides meet
is there any other solution than this crappy design?
i don't really fancy replacing this every year

considering using a copper pipe and bypassing this valve
and just having the tiptronic gearbox be cooled all the time.
if this badly glued part is the best porsche can offer, then i will need to think outside the box

thoughts?
