your honest opinion on this
id like to paint the centers of my wheels a graphite color, like this
please let me know if you think this would look nice, i photoshopped this the closest i could, but of course if i were to do this for real results would look more realistic
i liked the limited edition james dean one a lot, but not a fan of those wheels.

I prefer the stock color. Not really into graphite wheels.

I think the graphite color wheels look nice. What I really think would give a nice improvement, however, is to remove the amber lenses on your car. The amber evokes an 80s kinda look. If not remove them for the clear, maybe black them out with window tint? JMHO

Keep the stock wheels. Car looks great already. Why add an extra color that doesn't match anything else on the car?

Go ahead and paint the wheels dude, if it makes you happy. The car looks great as is, but anything you do to differentiate it more, with some exceptions, is great.
I wanted to paint my wheels yellow, but I don't know how or what kind of paint to use. If you can provide advice I would appreciate.
Merry Christmas!

I think the wheels look striking as they are - I wish I had a set.
However, I understand that part of the fun of Porsche ownership is modifying the car to suit your taste. If you don't like the graphite look, can you return it to stock easily? If you can, why not try the graphite look for a while? It's your car.

I say keep 'em stock because the graphite seems to close down the wheel and make them look smaller. The graphite on the 550 James Dean Boxster are 18's and are more open.
I also like the de-amber idea for your car due to the exotic color. Then maybe the graphite would be more desirable to me, but the de amber would set your car off with much less $$ invested.
Just another guy's opinion...
