Question Touch up paint

Just posted this question over on PPBB so if you are a member of both, excuse the cross post. I am wondering if any buddy has any experience with the touch up paint system as offered by Dr.Colorchip and another mfg. whose name escapes me at the moment. www.drcolorchip.com is the website. I have a few small stone chips that I would like to deal with and any advice would be welcome. I have an Arctic Silver '02. Thanks in advance for any help.

I have an Artic Silver also and have used Express Paint http://www.expresspaint.com/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idProduct=4498&idCategory=38

With great results, and the price and shipping was good.

Application ease?

Thanks guys, now tell me if the process lived up to the advertisement? Did it smooth out without a bump or was there some or no evidence of the repair work? Sounds like the chem. softens the paint so you can rub it down level then when dry polish with a little hand glaze. Any tips or tribulations in your experience?

Do a little at a time, if it is a rock chip and no metal showing build the paint up by filling the chip with paint using a toothpick, use a couple coats of clear (let dry) and wet sand with fine sandpaper (I think I used 2000 grit) and polish will help it blend.

Up close you will always be able to tell, but I would say 3 feet away it is hard to tell.

Is the pen easy to use? Do you still need to apply clearcoat or sand it after?
