Decided to forgo the side skirts for a while and work on the back of the car as the next piece....sort of a front to rear balance.
Working on a duck tail for the Boxster. Here are a few pictures of what I have come up with thus far. Input as to size and shape would be welcome.
Thanks

In my opinion the ducktail should be half the height you have in the pics. I will speak for myself I have wanted a ducktail to mount onto the OEM spoiler but I want something smaller so it looks good in the down or up position.

Vertically it is 3-1/4" and horizontal is 6". Are you thinking shorten both dimensions? It is/will mount as per the factory part.
Thank you for the input.

Can you snap a few different angle pics with the spoiler raised ? To my eye you did very good with the shape but it looks too tall to me..........maybe I'm wrong .

I will take some pictures tomorrow and post. There are a couple of people who like it as is but I am leaning towards cutting it down. It didn't look as big on the bench while I was forming it. More than likely I will end up with two different sizes and two molds.

I like the shape and corners, but it's too extreme for me. I'd like something about 1/3 of that height, when the tail is down. Please let me know if you make these for sale. Following...

First, kudos for doing this! Great job.
I like them both. The duck tail is the right size IMHO.

Its actually quite nice what you did. When you look at it from the side those are certainly the best flow curves I've seen for a Boxster spoiler. Nice work/skills man
Wish I'd be at least half-able to do these sort of things, not all that easy to do
