If someone has installed new shift cables, but you're not sure if they helped, I suggest conducting a thorough assessment of the performance of the new cables. Check if the gear shifting is now smoother and more precise. If you still encounter issues, further action may be necessary, such as adjusting or replacing other components of the gearbox system.
