Lseat cover questions

I have pulled the trigger on some Lseat covers.
My question is, has anyone installed seat heater elements (universal) 'while you are in there'

I am planning on having the upholsterer put the elements in while putting on the covers.
I'd then wire them up as a project.

Thoughts?

Coincidentally, I ordered a set from Lseat last Friday. I'm going to let an auto upholstery shop remove the old covers, put on the new ones, and contend with the stuff that heats the seats. A lot of guys (and gals) put the covers on themselves, supposedly, but I'd just as soon leave it to the pros. They can do it in a tenth the time it would take me. Besides, some new foam cushioning might be required.

one month later, time for an update.
Took about 3 weeks to get the covers. Received, very nice.

Took to upholsterer... well, you get what you pay for......A for effort, but that is about it.
Could have done better myself (famous last words!!).

Before I go looking for a new upholsterer, I gotta spend some time trying to make the seats look half-way decent.

Ended up seat bottom was also collapsed, so I had to fix that also....

It's not terribly noticeable on the pic, but it is much, much better, teh bottoms are tight at the seams, the tops are getting tighter... fixing the frame and teh seat support was kind of fun thought!

A lot of those wrinkles will disappear with time... check the later photos in my thread compared with the just finished ones.

What'd you use to fix the collapsed seat bottom?

Depending on the year' some seats have metal spring rod type supports and some have a sling or hammock type thing. The guy replaced the cover but didn't fix that? This is when you can add extra foam. A steamer and some hot sun will help take the wrinkles out.
