z12358 Registered User Join Date: May 2006 Location: Northeast USA Posts: 910	I remember reading/hearing somewhere that 1qt every 5-6k miles is considered normal for Porsches. I added 1/2 quart to my new 06 S (bought in May) after the 2k mile break-in (I also read/heard that oil consumption would be increased during break-in) and haven't needed any extra until the oil change before winter storage at 5k miles.
