elav Registered User Join Date: Apr 2021 Location: Bay Area Posts: 194	'98 Convertible Top Removal - Microswitch Hello, I have a '98 Boxster with a bad rear window. I picked up a used top with frame and want to remove my convertible top and frame and replace it with the one I just picked up. I believe I need to remove the plug (rear defrost) on the driver's side (LHD car) in order to slide the old top assembly back and out. How do you disconnect this plug? I don't want to break it and create a larger project. BTW, if you have a '98, there are 2 Phillips screws on each side in addition to the 3x 13 mm fasteners - took me a bit to find those. __________________ '98 Boxster 986 '87 911 Carrera Cabriolet Last edited by elav; 12-31-2023 at 10:28 AM.
