weird squeaky noise when idling ....

Hello guys, I'm Old new here with an 2004 Boxster base 2.7L with 177k miles all original glad to say.
for the past week I've replaced nearly all the pulleys (do to age and needed replacement) but on the left top the alternator pulley is fine (tested with belt off) seems fine but on the top right side the pulley has three 13mm bolts and when removal of the pulley the triangle part that's there make noise while hand spinning. What is that part ? I thank your for any help !

That should be your power steering pump if I understand correctly. Did you check the fluid level in the reservoir?

If right and left are relative in the way I'm imagining, I think you are talking about the power steering pump. The number 4 in this pic?

It probably needs fluid. Do not put "Power Steering Fluid" in unless it is the special Euro Hydraulic fluid type - CHF-11, CHF-202, or whatever it is the cool kids are using these days.

I've got a bad engine on the floor and one that I'm going to kill off pretty soon if you want me to pull a used pump for you.

I think I have a YouTube video about replacing the pump I can find and post if you need it.
