Sounds Great But No Power

Hello,
I am have a 986 2.5 1997. The people before me must have hated the car. Fuel pump hooked up with thin speaker wire and a switch inside the car. Fuel filter was by passed with a tiny little filter. The car is an automatic. The things i have done .Original problem was the water reservoir. So new water reservoir, repair the damage to the wiring and new fuel pump and filter (oem). New plugs , coils, tubes, new ecu . I have cleaned the throttle body and maf.

The car runs and sounds great (being i have never heard one before). It doesn't smoke or smell odd.

When i try to drive it . moves but no power maybe gets up to 15mph. All the covers are still off so i don't hear any odd with the engine.

Scanned with a Autel ms908pro. no codes.

109000+- miles on it

please help

Does it bog down when you rev it in park or neutral? If so, maybe your cat is clogged?

please help

First:.... They didn't make a 986 in 1987 so please give the correct year.
Second...... how many miles???? Automatic or standard transmission??
Third..... do you have a check engine light on? if not are you sure it works?
Forth......scanner the DME/ECU with a OBDII scanner and look for any codes.
Permanent and pending.

The car may be in limp mode. Perhaps someone on the forum knows how to tell if that is the case.
