I didn't find it particularly difficult to move the climate control. If I recall correctly, removing one of the HVAC ducts made it easier.
The challenge you face with a 2003 is that you are likely to have the MOST fiber optic audio system. I have a 2000 and my car has the simpler wire-based system. I don't have direct experience with the MOST system.
