It's low and wide looking. Looks like it is ready to pounce. Exactly like a sports car should.

The changes in the picture seem minimal, as expected. However, contrary to most of the posts here, I love the look of the 911. I think it is better looking than the Boxster, especially the back end. The Box back end looks like the front of a car, is it coming or going phenomenon. I have always been a fan of the 911 though, so shouldn't be a surprise that I continue to like it - bigger, beefier, more aggressive, etc..

I want one now!

Disclaimer: I love my Boxster and think it looks sharp, just think the 911 is a step better.

That is SCHWEET! That by far is the best 4 door I have ever seen. I really like it. Anybody know what the proposed powerplant is going to be?

I think it looks very good..albeit very similar to the 997. The side/front profile is perfect for a 911 I think. The 911 only looks really good as a coupe though...the cabrio version looks like a bathtub with a big butt and not as good as the boxster imo.

From worldcarfans.com

Initially the front-engined “family” Porsche will come on the market with an 8 cylinder 350hp engine and/or with a biturbo engine delivering 560hp. A lesser costly version will be powered by a 3.5 litre 300 HP fuel engine which is already being used in the Cayenne, four-wheel-drive is standard equipment. The top-of-the line Panamera gets the 10 cylinder 700hp engine coming from the Porsche GT.

Is that the engine that they will use when they run it in Nascar? By the way I thought the Carrera GT was around 500-550 not 700hp?

The original concept was around 550 but I think the street version was about 610. However we all know Porsche engines can be modified to give a little more hp (Porsche does with every engine) so I wouldn't be surprised if they can get 700 hp outta that V10.

The Carrera Gt's V10 makes 607hp stock...but more is in there.
