The scissor doors, big front spoiler, dramatic scoops, humps, all are good ideas by themselves, and maybe if they were designed to be unusual and with a unique style they would be good ideas here. But it's when you do everything together, slap the GT logo on the back, and cruise down the street with a dinky 3.2L under yer arse and expect to get respect... what a waste.

With that extra 40k, just trade in the Boxster and get a used 355. You'll still turn heads, but you'll still have your dignity while you do it.

Another classic, NSX to F50:

I think that it would be an ok car, if the front bumper was an oem GT one, those things are awesome. Also, those wheels and the lambo doors... ick.

THis would be a good use of a wrecked Z-06, IMHO. If I ever had spare time, what a joy this would be to build. Only appx. $35K, too!

So what happens when you take those to the dealer to service them? How odd would that look?

"I'm here for the 60k service on my NSX" "We'll sir where is it?"

Never been a fan of trying to make a car something it's not. I saw a Fiero-Ferrari wanna be once, total POS. To take an already beautiful car like the Boxster and do this to it seems stupid to me..
