Rubbing issues with 18x10 for rear?

Without that information, your examples don't help him. I have 18x10s on the rear of my 03 Boxster S, with a 47mm offset. It looks like 7mm less on the offset would be OK, but it would be very flush, and depending on what tire you used, it looks like it could rub. That said, the eBay sellers that are selling 18x10s with 40 offsets say they fit the Boxster just fine.
