Wait, it is worth it. When they do a sale it's usually for a bundle. My last one I got the bundle which included the pinch weld pads and wall mount brackets (still in the box) and it was less then their normal price for the regular 5000. $1100 is usually the sale price.

Looks like they have the standard SLX5000 on sale for $1050 right now. That isn't a bad price. That one usually goes on sale for $999 a few times a year but it's still a good deal at $1050. The slx7000 is a better deal right now if you have heavier cars.

Will the slx7000 fit under the boxster ?

I have a slew of different cars with the boxster being the smallest and a Chrysler Aspen being the largest.

Would love to find a quickjack that will fit them all.

I just got the slx7000 and it fits under my 2001 Boxster but it is close. Might be a problem if the suspension is lowered but figure some 2x8 blocks under the tires would fix that and could be driven off of without an issue.
