Gotcha, I don't use an iPod, and I intergrated my Garage Door Opener into the Center Console by wiring it to a Momentary-On switch with an Indicator LED both fixed into one of the Switch Blanks. Looks OEM, but it can be removed anytime in under 10 min., so my Center Console is free...

My friend did the cupholder upgrade in his 99 911. It took a lot of parts and time. He had to re-work the heater vents with a heat gun to make everything fit correctly. The outcome was worth it though.

Thanks for the link David! It looks like I'll have to take apart my current center console and see what your friend means by re-working the heater vents before doing this project.
