The funny thing about the link to this "hack" is that it did not work for the owner of the car and his website first time around. So I got Peter Smith to "fix" it. That was about 4-5 years ago.

I do not think we do it that way anymore, like in the pictures. I am in some of the pictures, working on Bruce's 2000 S.

Hey Jeff, for the life of me I can't make out how he wired up everything, even with the detailed wording and the pix. I sure wish I had a diagram for the dash switch hack (vs. the 4-stalk installment).

You can contact him and buy one of his wiring harnesses, if he still makes them.

I had to fix a few.

Do you mean a regular dash switch? It operates as two momentary switches with a common ground. As you look at the back you attach the ground to the middle pin and a control wire to each of the pins either side of it. If you want lighting run the outer pins to another switch. Same with a second switch if you want all four functions...

Regular spade connectors fit the back of the switch pretty well.

These are the parts needed for the dash switch deal.

I took this pic about 4 years ago. When the local group filmed the DIYer DVDs.
