Opinions needed

I’m considering adding a 911 to my stable and would love feedback from my 986 fam. I’m looking at a 996 turbo cab or a 997.1 C4S cab. Both have similar miles and are similarly priced. There are actually several available close in price and miles. I’ve even located a 996 Turbo cab with the X50 package. All things considered, what would you do or which would you recommend?

Thanks for the feedback.

All things being equal about the cars (condition, mileage, etc.), definitely get the turbo X50. No IMSB issues, better resale, 444 HP.

Questions to ask about 996TTs:

Have the cooling pipes been pinned or welded? (motor must be dropped)

Does the spoiler throw codes or leak fluid? ($3,500 or more at dealer to fix)

How many miles do you get on rear tires? (Mine last less than 15K)
